Our Story

We're Stria. We make tights for people who walk.

It started with a ruined pair of tights in a Pret A Manger.

Our founder, having invested £14 in what the packet described as "ultra-durable" hosiery — watched a ladder sprint up her left leg while she was queuing for a iced latte. She had a meeting with a client a  in 20 minutes.

The tights were 5 hours old.

The frustrating thing wasn't the ladder. It was that this had happened before. Many times. To everyone. And the industry seemed entirely unbothered.

So we became bothered on everyone's behalf.

We spent 18 months working with textile engineers and fit testers to understand exactly why tights fail — and how to build ones that don't.

The result is Stria. Ladder-resistant, non-rolling, non-cutting-in, sized S–4XL, and made to actually last.

We make tights that outlast your day. That's it.

No gimmicks. No excessive use of the word "luxury." Just well-engineered tights for people who have better things to worry about.

We're a small team based in London. We care deeply about fit, quality, and not annoying you with marketing emails.
(We'll probably send some anyway. But thoughtful ones.)
